| AOSpine was delighted to take part at the second SpineWeek meeting in Geneva, Switzerland; held only every 4th year. Over 2'000 participants from all over the globe took part and presented research papers, discussed cases and networked between May 26-31. In addition, the first combined AOSpine & EANS Seminar took during the congress on the topic of "Imaging and Navigation in Spine Surgery". |

| AOSpine attended the annual BritSpine congress held at the Belfast Waterfront Hall in Belfast from 30 April to 2 May 2008. This Fifth Combined Meeting of the British Spinal Societies combined Keynote Lectures with interactive debates and free paper sessions. |

| US regulators have barred seven doctors from conducting clinical trials of drugs and medical devices so far this year, as many as in the three previous years combined, after lawmakers complained about delays in discipline. |
